This small IR receiver is compatible with most commercial IR remotes out there. It's perfect for any IR remote control project for controlling relays, motors, lights, or adding input interface through any IR remote control. IR receiver features low power consumption as well as internal photo detector with preamplifier for boosting sensitivity and extending control range. IR receiver's output pin can be directly connected to ATMEL / PIC microcontrollers and Arduino for decoding.
